Invite your sister, daughter, and female friends for the 15th annual

"Women Are Wonderful" event.

Co-sponsored by the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center, the Warren Public Library and Zonta Club of Warren, this is the event women look forward to every February.


Due to the overwhelming interest in this event, space is limited to the first 85 paid participants.

The cost is $12.00 per person and must be paid in advance with no refunds available.


This is the 15th year for "Women Are Wonderful" and perhaps the best ever. Enjoy the workshops outlined below and mark your calendars for:

This years annual event features workshops and speakers from local businesses and organizations as well as a coffee/tea bar and a luncheon.

Child Care News


Dates To Remember





Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.


Kindergarten teacher, Melissa Mitchell from Warren Area Elementary Center (WAEC) will be available to share how you can prepare your child for a successful transition into kindergarten and answer any questions you may have.


Registration packets will be available and we will offer assistance on completion of the packets, if needed.


Refreshments will be served during the Transition Open House.


Sign up sheets will be available in each classroom.









The Jefferson DeFrees Family Center will be closed

Monday, February 16, 2015,

in observance of President's Day.


Our center will re-open

Tuesday, February 17, 2015,

with regular hours.
